I am a fully qualified and insured hair technician specialising in different methods of hair extensions, having been trained by one of the country's most experienced and professional extensionists at Extendhair.

Hair extensions give you the opportunity to volumise and extend the length of your hair as well as creating high lights or a splash of colour to your hair without the use of harsh chemicals. You can completely change your image in just a couple of hours. Hair extensions blend easily with your own hair to give a natural look and you can treat them in exactly the same way you would your own hair.  Wear them curly or straight, up or down, however you wish.

Hair Extension Techniques

Malaysian (weaving technique)
This is a smooth and flat technique with the benefit of no glue, heat or braids. The track is made by using your own hair and a particular weaving technique. A hair weft is then sewn onto this track making it flat against the head in an unnoticeable manner and adding length and thickness. This is a great technique for people with fine/thinning hair and will last you 6-8 weeks.
 

Micro ring weft
This is a technique that is applied very close to the scalp, wearing near enough flat against the head. The weft is held in place using micro rings or bonds which are left invisible to be seen. The technique will last you 6-8 weeks before then needing to be removed and re-applied re-using hair.

Micro rings
This is a popular strand by strand technique without the use of glue, heat or braids. The extensions are attached using a
small ring which is then clamped flat with a special clamping tool. All of the micro rings are silicone lined leaving the hair
protected. This method is great for creating high/low lights, Thickness and length and will last you 3 months.


Pre-Bonded
This method is very similar to fusion but is quicker in application due to the extension hair having resin (glue) already applied to the ends. Pre-bonded is practical to create body and length, highlights or streaks of colour. However some shedding may occur with this method and will require a maintenance every 4 weeks but will last you 3 months.

Maintenance
All of these methods will require regular maintenance as the natural hair grows or loosening and shedding occur. The frequency of the maintenance will depend on the method of application chosen.


Quality of hair
All hair used is 100% human hair. I currently use a high grade of Remi hair that comes in 14, 18 and 22 inch and also comes in straight, wavy and curly. This hair will last you up around 6 months or so.
